Ukai hangs up with Rei, a slight frown forming over his face. She’d told him to meet her at ‘Field B’ -- wherever that was -- as she was still speaking with the head coach and couldn’t walk him around just yet. He could barely find his own head. though ;; let alone ‘Field B’ so he finds himself wandering around the large campus in search of it. He couldn’t even imagine going to a school this big ;; certainly couldn’t imagine coaching a team with as many players as Rei had... 

He stops walking, looking up at a sign over his head. 

                            “Seidou Spirit Dorm” 

                                                   ... The hell? 

He spots a kid, tall with dark hair, a few feet ahead and calls out to him. 

                                      “Oi! Help me out for a second ;; any idea where ‘Field B’ is?”

         ‘ --a-and that’s exactly what happened! ’

        she finished her story with a clap of her hands, as if to punctuate that last sentence. she offered the boy a grin -- the fact that it was shaky, and that she didn’t look at all confident in what she had just said, should be irrelevant. truthfully, she had just been wandering around the school looking for rita, hoping they could go home together -- besides, she wasn’t sure how to get home from here alone, since this was her first time visiting even the general vicinity of seidou high.

        but after poking her head into too many doors, she realized ( a ) she was in a relatively deserted area of the school, and judging from the signs on the doors, ( b ) she was probably in some sort of administrative area, and the last thing she wanted was to get caught, but ( c ) she probably would get caught if she didn’t get out of there soon. one more look, she told herself, and when the boy passed by her in the hall she nearly had a heart attack -- even though he hadn’t even accused her of anything (yet), she’d proceeded to babble some story about looking for the principal because of some important documents (despite the fact that she was empty-handed), heart hammering in her chest with every word. which was how she found herself desperately smiling at him, hoping he wouldn’t get her into any sort of trouble.
