Representation of fat people in healthy, loving relationships is severely lacking everywhere which in turn solidifies the idea that fat people and loving relationships simply do not mix well. so I always wanted to see some fat people talk about cute, romantic, loving moments/dates/events they have experienced so other fat people get to read about it and maybe give them hope that they will, too, find something like that so. I’m a fat woman in a 7+ year relationship with a chubby guy. It may not seem super romantic but he makes the bed every morning because he knows how much I like to get into a freshly made bed at night. He also likes to kiss my neck/shoulder when he walks by me, and he lays on my lap while we’re watching TV. It’s adorable ♥️

Honestly my weight was one of the major reasons why I waited so long to try out dating apps, and though I was upfront in my profile about my size it was a nerve wracking experience the first time I met up with my now bf. But he never made me feel anything less than lovely (the first thing he said to me in person was that I was even cuter IRL, haha) and has never made me feel insecure about my weight in the two years since. I’m 100% comfortable around him and have gotten so much more comfortable in my skin while we’ve been dating. Plus he likes to pick me up and princess carry me around the apartment despite being lanky af and much smaller than me, and it flusters the heck out of me every time ❤️

i met my partner on tinder. their bio said "bbws message me". i was only looking hookups so this didnt bother me, and they were cute! we both fell in love super fast. they wrote me love notes all the time and we went on picnics and played video games together! its been 3.5 years now and we are still very in love. one special moment was when i was dancing with a plushie to Linger (one of my fav songs) and they saw me and joined me. i always wanted to slow dance, and that was my 1st time 💖
