Just wanted to say hi and that I resonate a lot with your posts about being basically asexual-by-proxy with exception of the fat fetish.... it's really tough. I just left a relationship with someone I loved, and even though I certainly now see some red flags that would have caused problems later, it seems so obvious that my options are even more limited unless I purely date in fat-world lol. What has your dating experience been like because of this, if you want to share?
Thank-you for reaching out 😊. It is definitely tough dating with this fetish and being basically asexual as well.
I'm sorry to here that your relationship ended like that. It is really hard when that happens when you have such strong feelings for the person, even if you know in hindsight it wasn't right for you.
My dating experience has been fairly limited, but I'll share how it has been.
I've connected with some people online, and at one point had an online relationship with someone from the other side of the world that lasted for almost a year. It was incredibly special to me, having someone who for the first time actually cared about me and was also a bit of a feeder. And I did feel like I was in love. We even talked about plans of eventually meeting in real life. I put on like 30kg (~66lbs) because of them in my time knowing them. And she was also responsible for me exploring some elements of my sexuality and sexual connection that I hadn't thought about before.
But long distance relationships are hard and I longed for a physical closeness. I had caught up with a friend of mine in real life who I hadn't seen for a long time and there were some feelings there from my side, but not from theirs. It would never have worked, but it was a sort of emotional cheating which was confusing my feelings and I eventually confessed to my online partner and things broke down. At the time it broke down I was a bit numb to it with my feelings being confused, but eventually it hurt a lot.
I have also dated once in real life with someone I met online who I met on Feabie. We met up for lunch and we were both so nervous but she was very sweet and we traded memes for a while. We also went to the movies together once where she wrapped her arms around my tummy and called me soft and I put my arm around her and I swear it's still the happiest single moment I've ever felt.
We talked online pretty much every day but we only met up fairly infrequently like maybe once a month or two. I felt like there could be love between us in the future, but we never said that to each other. Toward the end though I felt like excuses were being made whenever she avoided my suggestions to meet up, but she always insisted there was nothing more to it than just being busy. Eventually, she confessed that she'd been seeing someone else for much of the time we'd been seeing each other and that she hadn't known who to stay with, but she had picked the other person at that point but she wanted to still talk to me. It really hurt me, and I'm not even sure I've fully healed even now, more than a year on. On the advice of my best friend I decided to cut off contact and eventually I realised how much I was giving in terms of emotional connection and just being used.
I don't think it would be fair to date a "normal" person, on them, or on me. As people we deserve to be loved for all of who we are, and I don't think it would be fair to be with someone who just puts up with my weight rather than enjoys it.
My plan at the moment I guess is to grow big enough where the only dating attention I'd receive would be from admirers and feeders and perhaps try a traditional dating site. But I appreciate that it would be impossible from the other perspective to know whether someone is just fat or enjoys being fat. It really is a difficult world.
Thank-you so much for asking. I really appreciate getting this off my chest to be honest.
