Thought I'd share. This was a braid of Polwarth roving I got from @fatbottompurls. 

I'm just learning to spin on a wheel. I did one other small amount of yarn before starting on this. Top bobbin took me 3 days over 3 months' time. Bottom bobbin took me 3 hours. 

I wound bobbin 2 onto the swift, joined bobbin 1 to the start end of it, wound that bobbin also onto the swift, which is only a couple feet away from where I have the wheel set up. I had in mind to thread ply it... But I had to make dinner first. Dang it, life interfering with my creativity. If kids weren't home, I'd prob have done it and not eaten until like 10 PM. 

I think it would make a great cowl. Just plain with maybe 3 rows of seed stitch edging. But I don't think I can sell it. Not sure many knitters have the imagination to figure out what to do with this mess. Looks like stuff I spun on the drop spindle 8 years ago when I was a newbie. 

Actually once I got it washed, it's not that bad. I got 208 yards to 112 grams, which is overall about worsted weight. I'm thinking of leaving it as a single.

She only throws up once I believe, when she's turning into a zombie. And it's so much, it comes off as super unrealistic if that helps?

i super appreciate the additional info! unfortunately unrealistic doesn’t really register for me? like it does, but by that point my heartrate has already skyrocketed

Well sure, but the show in general is pretty up there on the gross out factor. There aren’t many discretion shots, so people who can’t handle an unrealistic fountain of baby-shit brown vomit probably aren’t going to comfortably enjoy the rest of the show.

yep! i let the owner know and asked if he wanted it and he said no (so it’s mine now)

I'd tell her as nicely as possible that if someone has to be reminded of their chores, they're getting charged for the inconvenience. Like $5 or something. Actually I have no idea. I avoid conflict like the plague.

thank you! we have kind of had that thought, because we’ve had the discussion that chores are a part of rent that must be completed. we’ve said that if someone doesn’t want to do chores, or wants to do fewer chores, we can accommodate that by changing the rent distribution slightly.

but yeah, totally, same. i hate conflict.

Oh my god... That story about the black baby doll in the elevator happened by me. This is really scary.

I live in a very prominent speck of blue in a sea of deep, deep red.  So I guess we’re an obvious and easy target.  In addition to this incident, and swastikas painted on downtown lampposts, we’ve had a few students of color harassed on campus as well. :(  I’m just hoping this ends soon and doesn’t escalate further.
