Fate and Curiosity {Kol&Katherine}
Fate was a fickle bitch, especially for Katherine. It seemed that no matter where she ran to, something would always pull her back into the small town in Virginia named Mystic Falls, a place she had considered her home many times over the years. The town held a significance to her, some of the most important and impacting occurrences had taken place in this very town. It always held a mystery, even to someone like her, someone whom was always one step ahead and strived on knowing everything about everyone, both for her own enjoyment and her own survival. The air here buzzed with an activity that could only be described as supernatural, and Katherine relished it. As dull and ordinary as it may seem on the outside, there was no where else like it, that factor was one of the biggest in her continuing to return to the minuscule dot on the map that was Mystic Falls.
Curiosity killed the cat. --It was a thought Katherine considered as she strolled through the quaint streets of the town. Her curiosity had brought her back here, her desire for news on just what had happened since her departure. The recently single Stefan, the newly un-dead Elena, the return of the Five, each had piqued her interest during her travels, an interest that had only become more powerful the longer she stayed away. As Katherine came across the Grill, the hint of a smirk curved the corners of her lips upwards. She observed the building quickly before heading inside, perhaps spreading rumors about Elena Gilbert behaving badly in the towns local Bar & Grill would be her source of amusement for the evening. The brunette sauntered through the room, her long, chestnut curls bouncing around her slender shoulders as she walked. She settled onto a bar stool, catching the attention of the bartender and using her certain powers of persuasion to order a drink, free of charge of choice. The vampire slipped out of her jacket and settled back into her seat, awaiting her drink and enjoying the glances that she felt being shot in her direction.
