Timeline 4: the timeline in which they knew beforehand of something they would have prevented if given the chance.

 In the cave of Silverwastes where they see Caithe's memory, instead of the past, Lorerys has a glimpse into the future. By the strong will of saving Trahearne, she leaves immediately, leaving the fight to everyone there with the Shadow of the Dragon and the mordrem, and hurries to stop Trahearne from heading to the jungle with the Pact Fleet. She arrives just in time, and in private tells him everything she saw. Trahearne believes her and instead of direct sudden attack, he decides to take a more cautious approach. They don't get captured. Trahearne and Eir lives, Braham has a mother. It seems like the right choice. But little do they know that Mordremoth decides to go against them on a slower and more cautious route too. He still takes control over the mind of sylvaris he can, collapsing the Pact from the inside. It starts in small things, until noone knows who to trust and they start to see their friends and allies as enemies, and many start to distrust even Trahearne as a Marshal, despite his mind is not corrupted. (Why did he pull the attack on the jungle back? He never told anyone...) The Commander is not in the jungle to help Caithe with the Egg. Aurene awakes by the side of Mordremoth. It seems to be the beginning of the end.
