hi everyone! with the slowdown of activity and new reserves/applications, i've made the unfortunate decision to soft close fatedverse for now. as usual, writers are free to continue writing on their muse accounts if they'd like, but the main will no longer advertise, process new applications, or enforce ac's at this time.
i'm currently exploring a few other ideas, including possible revamps for this verse, but they would need some time to complete thanks to my work schedule, and i understand that interests naturally shift over time. if anyone did want a heads up, you're welcome to reach out, i'd be happy to stay in contact and let you know if/when anything comes to fruition!

hello again everyone! just a quick reminder since i had forgotten to mention it — there is no activity check tonight due to it being our opening week. instead, our first activity check will take place next sunday, may 17 @ 7pm est, and will count activity from the last two weeks. after that, we'll start regular activity checks weekly.

lastly, i sent out the last of our survey questions just now. it should have been an ask from the main with a character survey question (you can find more details in the welcome message). if your muse didn't get one, do let me know in case tumblr might've eaten it!

after discussing with our current applicants, i'm excited to announce that fatedverse will be officially opening THIS COMING FRIDAY (MAY 1), @ 7 PM EST. if you'd like to join us for our first round of acceptances, please make sure to submit your application at least one hour before, at 6pm est! we'll make another post closer to the date with all the necessary reminders. throughout this week, we'll also be sending out the first in-character survey prompts to our current applicants, the details of which can be found our welcome message.
we'll do rolling acceptances throughout saturday & sunday for anyone who might miss the first friday cutoff. then, after that weekend, we'll switch over to our regular weekly acceptances, which will take place weekly on sundays, @ 7pm est.

hello, tags! this is just for fun, but i've loved seeing results come in for the quiz and i love tallying up things, so i thought i'd share some of the results for anyone else curious. you'll find some stats under the cut.
to everyone else, we are an original character roleplay inspired by the concept of 인연 (in yeon; fate, destiny), and what human interactions would be like in a retrofuturistic world that has found a way to genetically engineer soulmate bonds. we'd love for you to check out our PREMISE or our MUSE PRESETS, or to take the quiz (pw: fatemark) either for yourself or a potential muse!
so far, a majority of quiz takers have fallen into the category i call "intense feelers" - this goes for dark indigo / blood red, fiery red / sharp violet, and vivid orange / bubblegum pink / cerulean blue. i was expecting the dreamy / fantasy-leaning archetype to pop up more often, but actually it was the more "grounded" / present-oriented types that came in second, aka olive green / russet brown, cream yellow / sky blue, and electric green / neon purple - though interestingly i think these three are grounded by different things each (harmony, companionship, and individuality, respectively). and lastly, representing the more "faraway" types, lavender / ashen gray / pale blue only occurred twice (or technically once, since this was the result i got?).
the rarest archetypes so far are deep blue / deep violet, gold / sunset orange, and pale pink / murky green, with 0 occurrences each so far.
