Cont. from @fatedbeginnings || Asher & Gen (x)
Gen stood on the spot, maintaining her stance as she watched him turn to face her briefly, feeling his eyes scanning her and wondering what he was thinking. Was he making judgement of her as many did? Or was he just admiring? Either way, she had little time to care for what others thought about her, and given that she had just attempted to steal from him (although, technically he had already stolen the items, had he not?), she wasn’t prepared to be in the guy’s good books. Still, a girl had to do what she had to do to survive. Remaining on the beach as he waded back towards shore, she allowed herself a moment to admire his physique, not only for the sheer appreciation of his beauty, but also knowing that he appeared fit, strong and healthy; someone who might be useful to be around if she needed assistance.
“You think we’re stuck here, huh? I mean, I’m not exactly rushing to give up hope but I wouldn’t be getting too excited yet. This beach is pretty and all, but who knows where the hell we are.” There was every hope that her father would use his resources to find her, but that was still banking on the idea that they could even locate where the plane went down. Everyone who had survived was injured, some badly, and there was only a matter of time before they ran out of supplies. “Funny... Some might say the exact opposite and presume I am stupid for trying to get your stuff. But then again, it ain’t your stuff to begin with, so there’s that.” Opting that it was better to make friends instead of enemies, she took a few more steps towards him and held out a hand. “The name’s Gen. Guess if we’re gonna be roommates for the next, well, forever potentially, no point in being a total recluse.”
