Though Corrin was kind and cheerful to most everyone around her, Frion still felt the repressed anger of her leaving Nohr. He'd mostly just heard stories of her being locked in a tower which, admittedly, would want to make anyone want to leave, so he couldn't blame her for that. He wasn't even angry at her specifically. More so, he felt sorrow for for Princess Elise. She had been hit the hardest by Corrin leaving Nohr. It didn't only make Frion's job much more difficult. It filled him with regret. He'd spent at least a year hoping to properly meet the now traitorous princess. Now that she had left, he no longer wanted her back. For all he cared, she could drop dead. With her inexperience, she likely already was.
So, when Frion came face to face with the manakete, his fury bubbled to the surface. Green eyes narrowed and his hand instinctively rested on the hilt of his sword. What was she doing there all alone? What was her plan?
"You hurt Lady Elise by leaving, you know." It was worded like a question, but his tone held so much hostility that it couldn't possibly have been taken as an inquiry. "I truly hoped you would come home. Now I just want you dead." Suspicious eyes would search the area, looking for whoever she had brought with her. "...Don't tell me you came here alone? Gods, I knew you weren't the smartest, but..."
