        allie  stared  back  at  dean  blankly,  not  understanding  why  he  was  still  holding  what  happened  against  her.  it  was  like  their  previous  conversation  never  took  place.  “maybe  there's  something  i'm  not  getting.  how  can  you  still  be  pissed  off  about  this?  it  was  an  assignment.  we  agreed!”  she  explained.  “what  just  because  you  didn't  complete  it  and  i  did  …  because  you  like  us,  this  is  all  on  me  now?  i'm  the  villain?"

        “oh  my  fucking  god!  kill  me  now.”  nancy  screeched  dramatically  as  she  caught  a  whiff  of  the  strong  smell  coming  from  the  kitchen.  she  waved  her  hand  in  front  of  her  face,  shooting  tucker  a  death  glare.  living  with  these  hockey  neanderthals  was  hell  on  earth.  “whatever  that  is  smells  disgusting.  throw  it  out.  better  yet  leave  it  on  the  counter  and  i'll  curse  it."

        karaoke  night  at  malone’s.  singing  madonna’s  ‘like  a  prayer’.  what  could  go  wrong?  everything.  that’s  what.  the  whole  bar  was  going  crazy,  clapping  and  cheering  after  the  performance,  but  helen  was  convinced  that  her  pitch  had  been  off.  that  she  sounded  horrible  and  they  were  all  just  being  nice  because  she  was  a  hockey  player’s  girlfriend.  it  had  nothing  to  do  with  her  being  good  …  and  that’s  all  she  wanted.  to  be  good.  “no,  you  know  what,  logan.  you  don’t  have  to  say  that.  it  was  awful.”  helen  sighed,  sitting  across  from  him  at  their  table.  “we  should  just  go."

         “brute!”  catherine  shouted  back  at  the  stranger,  a  villager  she  did  not  know.  she  tried  to  physically  push  past  heathcliff  when  he  shoved  her  behind  him,  but  that  was  no  use.  he  was  already  defending  her  without  a  thought.  and  she  could  tell  he  was  angry.  “do  not  ever  speak  to  me  that  way.”  she  bit  back  at  him,  attempting  to  move  around  heathcliff  again.  “next  time  i'll  tear  your  heart  out."
