Father's hill sugar free citron jam ( no sugar yuja jam) Made by an engineer with a daughter suffering from atopic dermatitis. The natural grain syrup is extracted from barley and can be use in place of sugar. Ingredients: natural grain syrup without sugar, citron, rice, barley and agar. The aroma of citron is subtle and the jam had little pieces of it too. I was surprised by the consistency, very thick but easy to spread. It has a bit of sweetness but not overpowering and almost addicting. I slather this on bread, crackers and even pieces of cheese, so good!! I received this 5 Whole Grains Natural Sugar Free Syrup for a discounted amount for $3.99 from the #08liter website and all opinions are my own. This is a very nice and versatile product that you can use to substitute for sugar in different ways. I replaced it with my honey I normally put in my tea. I had to use a little more of the product than I anticipated to get a little sweet taste it but when I did it tasted good. To open, it has a easy top you pull back on and it just pops off and pour slowly. It has a little spout to reduce mess. This syrup has a nice thick but runny constantly, so it is easy to over pour, just tip slowly to your desired amount. You can find information and order it off amazon.com about this syrup. This is the second jam I try from this brand, love it! Not super thick and such a lovely sweet potato taste! If you don't like sweet potatoes then this is not for you, I love them. Is not overly sweet I will say is just right since is a purple sweet potato. I paired it with a slice of pumpkin loaf and it brought the spices out more. I purchased this sweet potato jam for $3.99 off of the #0.8Liter website and here is my honest opinion of this product. This jam could use just a little bit more sweetening for my taste, but in general, tastes good. It is a heavier jam which I like, especially when I made toast and put it on top. Refrigerate after opening, keep it out of direct sunlight. Tastes great and I will look for a recipe or two to use it in. 🥞 This Fathers Hill Whole Grain Syrup states that it is syrup but to me it's more like a honey. It has a nice amber color and is very sweet but it's made with no added sugars. It's a nutritious alternative for those mindful of their sugar intake. 🥞 I really like that it's made with absolutely no sugar other than the natural sugar extraction that occurs through the processing of its 5 organic grains - rice, barley, brown rice, glutinous rice, wheat and pear. 🥞 The extraction process maintains the nutritional components of the grains and maximizes the amylase in barley grains. I'm not sure I would pour this syrup all over my pancakes or waffles because it's super thick and sweet but baking with it is great. 🥞 I use this syrup more for baking then anything else and with the sweetness you can bypass adding any extra sugar.
