FATHOM SWANSON #WYOMING From the wild, wild West of the United States we feature #FathomSwanson as our #NationalTreasure. This beauty from Wyoming is an Old West history buff who is pioneering the burlesque efforts in her state. "As one of the only women in the community doing this, it raises eyebrows. You can say I'm a rebel with a cause," Fathom tells #RedHotsBurlesque. According to Fathom, she was the first burlesque performer featured on #JerrySpringer doing #burlesque as well as the first Wyoming grand marshal in the #gaypride parade. "I live in the country in Wyoming and I'll do whatever it takes to do what i love." Founder of #KeyholePeepshow in Casper, WY, which recently celebrated their year anniversary, Fathom is constantly creating performances in an array of styles and themes that appeal to her. With Fathom's acts ranging from Marie Antoinette to an evil nurse with balloons full of blood, she tells us, "I have so much fire. I am very fierce and very aggressive... If I find a song or prop that inspires, I do it rather than sticking to a genre." Recently she was the first Wyoming contestant and winner at #Burlypicks, winning #MasterTassels. WHAT TO DO IN WYOMING: "In Wyoming we have a lot of rich old history, like the #BuffaloBill Museum and his grave. There's also the Irma Hotel where Buffalo Bill and #AnnieOakley lived. There's a bar from #QueenVictoria in Irma Hotel that was a gift to Buffalo Bill... There are really amazing museums like Fort Caspar Museum... Also check out Gma's Cafe in Casper.
