Eid Mubarak!!
Super late, I know, but I was prepping all week for my mom's dinner party and we were still doing house parties that weekend. Considering we're going to another Eid party this coming Saturday, I'm going to say I'm still in the middle of the holiday.

Happy Pride Month!!!
Managed to finish a little something before June ended! I didn't have anything too complicated for a theme this year, just Fatin in some cute Pride gear but in typical me fashion, I ended pushing this back until the very last minute. I really wanted to incorporate a lot of rainbows this time around and I hope all these colors together don't look super chaotic in this layout.

First post of 2026!
I've been meaning to complete another illustration that was a bit more colorful and cheery but then all of January happened and those drafts felt a little inappropriate to post. Maybe it will happen another time but I did wanted to finish something for January so I hope this will suffice for now.
I do hope the rest of the year treats you all better! This might not have been the most ideal start to 2026 but we still have 11 months to go so let's power through! Please stay safe out there and stay warm!

Eid Mubarak!!
It was technically from Saturday to Sunday but after spending both days with family, there was no way I was getting this done on time haha! I was really struggling from I wanted for this year's illustration but after waiting in line for about an hour to get some henna done on my hand, I decided to use that as inspiration.
I've drawn Fatin with henna before but it's always been rather light and not the main focus. When I was getting my henna done, I was very fascinating by the color change of the paste. From how it came out of the tube a shiny black, to a dry brown, and then peeled off to reveal a pretty red and orange design on my skin. I wanted to use those colors to add some variation to the floral design in the back and use it as base colors for Fatin's outfit. Drawing the actual henna designs on Fatin's hands and ankles were a little tough since since the illustration was so small, but I'm glaf I still got it as detailed as I did.
I hope you all had a safe and lovely Eid and got to relax a bit between the parties and get togethers. And if you don't celebrate, I hope you all had a lovely weekend!

Happy Valentine's Day!!
Or late Valentine's day for whenever this posts, haha! It's been ages since I properly animated something but surprisingly the animation part wasn't the hard part. Getting all the pieces and parts composited was what took forever for some reason because originally this was going to be for New Years but then had to be pushed back. The outfit I designed for Fatin worked better for Valentine's day anyway so it worked out haha!
It's just been so cold on my end, I am just so ready for spring so of course Fatin's outfit had to reflect a more floral vibe instead. I had to scrap a lot of ideas because this project was beginning to be too much, especially since those ideas would work with the theme I had going on. I was getting frustrated over this piece but I'm happy with how it turned out once it was finally done!
