I hate the fuckin dress thing. I have ptsd and I dissociate and occasionally see dogs that don't exist and this dress is literally a joke about fucking with people's perceptions and I want it at least 1000 feet away from me at all times.

36: What is your favorite restaurant?

I don't go out to eat that much but I really like homegrown cafe in newark. pretty much all of their food can be made vegetarian or vegan (and they know what they're doing so it tastes fucking great), and a lot of it can be made gluten free, too. they have the best french fries ever and they give them to you in a terra cotta flower pot. also a lot of the waitstaff and patrons and stuff are attractive hipsters... there was that one white blonde waiter with dreads but that was more an exception than the rule. it's really yummy but all their food and drinks (I like their drinks) are pretty expensive, so I can't really go very frequently. besides, I hardly ever get out of the apartment during the semester, except to go to class.

probably last night while annie and I were watching evangelion and both posting to their blog at the same time and having general shenanigans. it was a good time! :)

yeah, I think when it's applied to mental health issues it can frequently become fairly condescending or guilt-trippy - at least to me
