Body Positivity
I've been seeing an increase in stories regarding body positivity on my dash lately and well that is awesome and great, what I haven't been seeing is representation of girls past a size 20-24. I want to fill this space with all bodies, bodies like mine and like other girls I see being left out. Post a selfie and make your body visible as well! I know I will be!
This picture was posted on the high traffic website of a night club in my hometown. I almost broke down into tears the first time I saw because I felt like it was completely unflattering. After eyeing myself for a while and noticing all of the parts of my body that I typically ignore, I glanced over and noticed my boyfriend's face. My dim mood was brightened when I noticed his smile and the light blush that played across his cheeks. This caused me to recall the fact that he digs the crap out of me and reminds me every day that I am beautiful and "rad"; it helped me remember that I have people who love me for me and that is enough.
I am not 100% confident 100% of the time, but I am working on it day by day. This is me. This is who I am. I don't have to be ashamed of that.
Fat Girl Tips and Tricks:
It's summertime now and that means (for me anyways) hot and humid temperatures that leave me begging for fall/winter! I HATE being sweaty and being a fat girl you have to get creative because of things like chub rub getting worse! I swear by Monistat Soothing Care Powder Gel:
I'll add a link to drugstore.com if you aren't able to find it a local shop, Wal-Mart is a bit cheaper. Drugstore.com & Wal-Mart. This gel dries to that claimed silky smooth texture and really helps on hot days when I'm really active (at work, out shopping, ect) I put some on the inner thighs and a tad under the belly because that's a possible problem area as well. I also love to use spray deodorant in the powder scent for under my boobs and between because between boob sweat is awful!

Body powders in sensitive areas like under the belly and inner thighs could cause skin yeast infections during these hot months but I found that using a powder out of the shower like this one linked here.
If you have a heat like rash under the belly or between the inner thighs you should wash the area with mild soap, rinse and dry the area completely. I usually apply some Aquaphor Healing Ointment over night and it usually clears any place up quickly! You only need a tiny bit! The link for that product is here!
I also would like to add that if any of you are like me and tend to break out between your thighs from chub rub or just in generals from friction or the heat try not to pick at them as they could turn into cellulitis which is a infection/inflammation of the skin. Sweat harbors our natural flora and when there are breaks in the skin that bacteria can get in there and cause major issues! know you're not alone, know that YOU are beautiful, you are worthy, you are enough. These are just thoughts and as much as we take stock in them and wholeheartedly believe them tomorrow is a new day and a chance for a new perspective. Do something nice for yourself in those moments; read a book, read fanfic, play a game, do a hobby, watch a show you really love, listen to inspiring music, read a blog, TAKE A SELFIE, paint your nails, do your make-up, make yourself a snack, do SOMETHING to show yourself the appreciation you deserve, Know that I'm in your corner and I love you.
