March 30th, 2017. Today started with a very intense rainfall and winds up to 35 knots. After it was calmer, we went on a tour in the dinghy to check out some small, nearby waterfalls. First we thought that we could swim there and get showered by the waterfalls, but the more we approached, the more we saw that a landing was impossible. The swell has an amplitude of more than 1.5 meters with a period of approximately 10 seconds. So, we forgot about swimming there and went back. On the way we saw manta rays just beside Pepita. Wow!!! In the afternoon, we went to a waterfall in the mountains of Fatu Hiva together with the crew of the kids-boat Zimovia. It was a 3h hike, with breathtaking wild landscapes, and one of the most beautiful waterfalls we have ever seen. We will post some pictures of it as soon as possible. Now we are all tired and will go to sleep in a sec. Good night!
