Kitty and Anna Universe hoping adventure part 8
As our two queens jump into the portal, both have the sensation of falling down a rabbit hole, both wandering on what universe they might stumble upon too.
As Anna looked ahead, she saw that the vortex they entered was about to come to an end. She pulled Kit towards her and wrapped herself around the younger queen, hoping that if they landed on a hard surface she could take most of the blow. Seeing the flashing light at the end, Anna and Kit closed their eyes and embraced for impact.
The first thing they felt when they landed was something soft.
"Anna, are you okay?" Was the first thing the pink queen said as she looked for any injuries from the other queen.
"I'm fine, Kit. Not even a scratch" she said with a smile, reassuring the youngest queen that she was fine. Kit smiled back, she looked at her surroundings, she found themselves that they landed on a bunch of pillows.
"Are we in a universe where everything is soft?" Kit question. Anna just shrugs not knowing what to say. Kit lightly shook her head and thinking that may be a stupid question to ask. Then again anything goes when you have visited different kinds of universe.
As she placed herself into a sitting position, she scanned the room, to find that it was filled with stacks of books, stacks that could reach up to her bellybutton. The first person that popped into Kit's mind was Cathy. Out of the corner of Kit's eye she saw something moving. It's a tail. The movement of the tail was just a slow movement from left to right. Getting curiouser, Kit got out of the pile of pillows that she was in and Anna followed. As the two stood up, the next thing they saw were a pair of wings, upon further inspection the duo sees that the tail they saw is connected to the being with giant wings and that the creature had paws most likely of a lion. This reminded Kit of a time when she and Cathy read a book of monsters and without a doubt, that the creature in front of them is a sphinx. It seems like the sphinx has buried themselves in a book that they're reading, cause they haven't noticed the two that had entered a couple minutes ago. Without any warning the sphinx stretches it's buddy in a cat like manner, knocking down 2 or 3 stacks of books behind them. This causes a yelp from the two queens.
When the sphinx heard the yelps behind her. She turned her head to the source of the sound and to find the fourth and fifth queen behind her. She let out a toothy smile revealing her sharp teeth. Weirdly enough the two queens did not find this horrifying, it was more like something familiar. As the sphinx got closer they finally recognized who it was. CATHY!
"I knew you two would show up soon." Sphinx! Cathy said.
Both confuse and process that one of their friends in this universe is a sphinx.
"So is everybody else in this universe a sphinx too?" The German ask
"No. Right now I think I'm the only one who is a sphinx in this universe." She said using her paw to point at herself.
"Cathy, can I pet you?" Said the youngest in the group. Cathy didn't say anything but just lowered her head and awaited Katherine's touch. Kat smiled knowing she has permission to pet her friend. Kat started off with a couple of pats, next stroke the sphinx mane. Enjoying the feeling at how soft and fluffy it was like Cathy in her universe, without even thinking she scratched the 6th queen's chin, causing her to purr out of instinct. Anna chuckled at how cute the interaction was between the two, but was soon interrupted by a screaming upstairs. Cathy's lion ears picked up the sound, she swiftly ran out of the room, went to where the sound was coming from. Out of curiosity the two other queens followed suit.
Every step they took on going up the stairs, a noisy creek was heard. But the creek wasn't enough to block out the scream. As they got closer they realized that the scream was more of a deep and harsh sound, like a growl. Each growl they heard was not a pleasant, it sounded like it was in pain. When they got up on top of the stairs they noticed the scratch marks on the doorframe. Once more the agonizing growl was heard again, out of instinct the two queens froze in fear, not knowing what may be on the other side of the door.
"Lina?" Cathy said before giving a few knocks on the door, when Anna and Kit heard the name of the 1st queen, both of their nerves lowered a bit. "It's me Cathy. Can I come in?" No clear response, only growls of pain, knocking once again hoping a response would return. Nothing. Cathy twisted the knob with her opposable paws.
The first thing they thought was on how dark the room was, the windows were covered by a thick cloth and some cardboard, not letting a single light from the outside to appear. The only light source they have right now is the hallway light. The room could have been unoccupied, if it weren't for the grumble and banging sound coming from one side of the room. Cathy was the first one to enter the room, and using her night vision she gained from her transformation, she guided the red and pink queens to the source of the sound, without tripping on anything that might awaken the beast. Using the only light source the two have they can make out a silhouette of the creature, and three things stood out from the it; the huge horns that are sticking out of her head, The gigantic wings that she has wrapped partly around herself making it look like a protective shell and lastly, a long tail tucked between her legs.
Cathy took caution when approaching Lina, she can see the pain expression that her godmother bare on her face. Lina's sharp talons grip hard onto the bedsheets, leaving scratch marks on it. Out of nowhere another roar came from Lina's mouth, showing the sharp teeth she has. The roar startled Anna and Kat, both almost fell from how powerful it was. As for Cathy who was near and has more sensitive ears than the two, had to pin her ears and use her paws to deafen the sound. After a few seconds pass and probably the best moment to awake Lina from her nightmare. Cathy slowly places a paw onto Catalina's shoulder, giving a few gentle nudges to wake her up from the awful nightmare that she might be having. "Lina. Lina. Wake up." Cathy said softly hoping not to trigger any animal instinct that might cause distraction. After a couple of shakes later. Two golden eyes started to blink before them, the brightness of the eyes made the tears glisten to the three queens, indicating that the dream was very unpleasant to the oldest queen.
Everything was still a blur to Lina, due to her crying. Lina sniffled a bit before saying. "Cathy?" Reaching out to feel something furry and familiar. Cathy places her head right underneath Lina's palms, making sure that Lina is safe and with her family. Lina gave a sigh of relief that the horrible images from her dream had stopped. As soon as her vision got clearer, she finally noticed the two other individuals in the room. Lina golden looked directly at Anna and Kat, eyes filled with shock to see two of the queens have returned to their human form. "Anna? Kit? How did you two turn back?" The two queens in question look at each other with a puzzled look, they don't know what to answer, since they only have little to zero knowledge in the universe they've stumbled upon to.
"They're from a different universe than us, Lina. Kitty and Anna in this universe are in the woods right now." Cathy answered.
"Oh. So am I just gonna be in this demonic form forever." Lina said looking down at her ruin bedsheets, she really had hope that there's a chance that she could turn back to her original form. Cathy got up the bed and started to wipe Lina's tears away.
Taking a deep breath, Anna walked over to the two monsters, kneeled before them and then grabbed one of Lina's hands, which made the gargoyle look at her. "Lina, I may not know what might be happening here or what had happened before we entered this dimension, but I do know you're still one of the strong, kind and faithful people I know." Anna said with a smile on her face to reassure Lina that she isn't lying. "And with the little knowledge I know about gargoyles, is that they're protectors. So please don't believe that you're a demon, cause Lina, you're our friend."
After a couple of seconds had passed a loud sigh was heard. "Thank you, Anna. But there's some stuff that you might understand." Lina said before wrapping herself with her wings.
"I think both of you should leave. Maybe explore around and find your monster counterpart. I know you two wanna know what you look like in this universe." Cathy said, jumping off the bed and leading the two outside of the room. "As I said before, I think you'll find them in the forest. Just follow the path and it will lead you to them." Giving the two instructions. "Don't worry about Lina. I'll handle it from here."
"We love you, Lina." Kitty said before the door closes in front of them. The two looked at each other, descending down the stairs.
It truly is a nice day to walk in the forest. The different shades of green, and brown of the forest was nice to see, and with some help of rays of sunlight peeking through the leaves makes the scenery more mesmerizing, making it almost like a fantasy world. The smell of the different flowers in the forest makes the air pleasant for the nose. As the two kept on walking, Kit spotted something that was worth telling the other queen. "Anna, look." she said pointing to the two rabbits at one side of the woods, both of them were nibbling the grass and some flowers in their area, then the one ear of each rabbit perked up, both stopped their eating and scanned the area, then a rustle was heard from above both of the queens looked and just saw leaves swaying with the breeze, they look back to the rabbits but they have scampered somewhere The two queens didn't think much of it, and continue on their search for their monster counterpart, not knowing that two green eyes are looking from above.
After a couple of minutes of walking the pair took a little rest underneath a tree, they didn't think that it was gonna be a while to reach the possible clearing that they're monster counterpart would be. Kit closed her eyes for a bit and recapped the previous universe they went into.The first one they went into was another musical, next one was a sad one, everyone was screaming and crying, then they went to another one which had an oblivious!Aragon and a Jane that's addicted to slushies, then the next two they went were about fairytales, then after that universe they got into a place where everyone has wings and the recent one they went into, some of the queens were aliens while some of them are not, Kit wasn't sure about that since they only saw Anne, Anna and herself in that universe, they don't know if Cathy or Lina are either an alien or human at that universe.
Nothing to worry about, probably just the leaves.
That sounded a bit closer
"Kit? How did you turn back?" A familiar voice called to her
Kit's eyes slowly opened, to see two familiar greens lenses, and surrounded those lenses where yellow, not white. Kit rubbed her eyes to check if she was seeing right and when she finally opened them she saw a serpent hanging onto a tree branch with her tail, and out of her fight or flight instinct, Kit screamed. This woke Anna up who had accidentally fallen into a slumber, she then saw the giant staring face to face at them, she was about to grab Kit's arm and run away, but then the snake lowered herself a bit more and tried to calm the screaming queen.
"Kit, KitKat. It's me Anne. I promise I won't try to eat you again."
This made Kit stop her screaming and gave another look at the serpent before her. It was Anne, but in a scally way.
"Annie, it's you." Glad to see her cousin not wanting to capture her, like the previous universe they were in "What do you mean again?" Giving a confused look to her cousin.
"Before I answer that question, how did you two turn back?"
"What do you mean turned back? aren't you guys monsters from the start?" Anna said and may have used better words to asked that question, cause the next thing that came out the serpent mouth was this
"I know I did things that were of a monster, becoming a lamai isn't helping me a lot. This is a punishment I deserve for ruining people's lives." Anne said, her eyes getting watery and in any second she was gonna cry.
"Bo, I didn't mean that way. I'm just asking since we're aren't from here." The red queen said. "I'm sorry if I said something that hurt you."
"Annie, I'm sure you didn't mean to eat the me in this universe." Kit said coming closer and grabbing a napkin out of her pocket. She offered the napkin to Anne, which the serpent took and wiped her tears away. Kit gave a smile to her cousin, a smile that could easily say "everything is gonna be fine". Anne smiled, back and started to wrap her body around her cousin, it wasn't a suffocating kind of hug that some snakes use to take the life away from their prey, it was more of a sweet embrace. Kit hugged her cousin back, it was a bit weird to feel scaled instead of human flesh, but neither the less this was, Anne. "Hey, Annie, do you know where the version of us is? I'm now really curious on what type of monsters we become."
"Probably another predatorial one, since Jane was some sort of Yeti and the ones we've encountered today have been some ferocious beast kinds." Anna chimed in. Whose face was excited to see her monster self. Unwrapping herself from Kit, Anne had the face of "should I tell them now or let them see it with their own eyes?"
"If you lots wanna know, they're only a couple of feet a head. Both of them are near a river and just sitting on the grass. You can't miss them." The green queen said pointing to the direction the two should take. Both said thanks and was about to leave the serpent behind, but Kit gave another quick hug and said I love you to Anne. Cause she knows her eldest cousin needs to hear it, Anne didn't say anything but just nuzzled her face into Kit's shoulders.
Anne didn't lie that a river was one of the things that they'll be stumbling into. Walking deeper they can start to hear a strumming of a ukulele and someone humming in a near distance. When they reached the creek both took a quick scan of the area and saw a bunch of animals gather on a spot, those animals were mostly small critters like ; foxes, rabbits, squirrels, birds and others. But there's one animal that's a bit different compared to the size of the rest of the animals, it was a horse, but it's mane was different from other horses, instead of a long mane that reaches the necks of horse, it was just a short haircut, a familiar haircut that Kit knew too well. Kit Got closer to the animals but as she did, she stepped on a twig making all of the animals look at them and scampered off into the woods, but two creature's stayed. All four eyes were looking at each other not saying a word until.
"Oh shit! I'm a sexy horse." Anna cried, breaking the silence they had a few seconds ago, making her and her centaur self laughed. Centaur! Anna got up from her spot and faun! Kit followed.
"I guess we aren't some ferocious beast after all." Kit said, looking at her monster self. Who slipped off Anna's back and stared at her human self.
"No we're not." Faun! Kit spoke. "I'm guessing you're from another dimension."
"Well first off you're us and you can't be us in this dimension cause that's us, and secondly we also went to another dimension too." Centaur! Anna said
"The one where another Anna was being a jerk to Kit."
"I know that one. It was the first one we went in. I beat the daylights out of her." She said while punching her right fist to her left palm.
"Same here. I even knocked a tooth out of her."
As the two Anna compliments at one another, the two Kit just stared at how amusing it was.
"So you're a Faun?" Kit asked
"Of course." Faun! Kit said very happily that even her body language speaks for itself; ears perked up and her tail wiggles in delight. Kit started to scratch the neck of the faun, who in return stretched her neck out to give her more room to scratch. Kit giggled on how adorable her faun self is.
"Oi, Kitz." The Germans said, gaining the attention from the two, mostly the faun. "I have a question for you."
"Sure. What is it?" Said the poor innocent faun, cause the next thing that came out of Anna's mouth was something the 5th queen did not expect.
"Do you enjoy riding monster me?"
"ANNA, WHAT THE FUDGE!" Kitty yelled and slapped her partner's shoulder. Anna didn't mind it, cause she was busy laughing at how stupidly her joke was.
"Worth it." She said after her laughter, she then gestured a fist bump to her Centaur counterpart which in return fist bumped her back who was also laughing at the joke.
"You two are so mature." Faun! Kit said, rolling her eyes. Then at the same time the two Kit's stick their tongue out in sync.
After the playful banter the four had. All four of them had some quality time together asking; on what had happened to them and their transformation. And other stuff that sometimes the two didn't know what to answer since they didn't transform that long ago, so it was a mystery to them too. Both of the Kit started to sing some songs, Kitty with human fingers played the ukulele, soon after the animals that had run off, came back and gathered around faun! Kit, which kit then made a comment that she's like a disney princess, faun! Kit agrees, while petting a bunny on her lap.
