So, guess who is going to be rebooting? And returning?

Looks like the Voice of the Empire is coming back to be an annoying Propagandist all over again. Because I guess I just can’t stay away. <3 This blog will be archived because I’ve got waaaaay too much ancient work in it, and asks from eons ago in it, but I’ll link you all to the new one once it is finished.

Basically, I’m coming home, ya’ll.

Guess who’s back?

With Valoren’s successful reboot comes this ‘lil fella -- especially after that three minute clip that Dreamworks released. Look, if that alone wasn’t enough to bring this muse clawing back from the depths, I don’t know what is. He’ll be getting a few updates (namely, his profile will have an update about where he went after scooting tf away, but if you want there is a whole post on that here on this blog regarding his Post S5 content), but Morvok is already functioning and good to go.

As with Valoren, if you were involved in any threads with Morvok or sent him any Asks that you can remember and wanted answered, please let me know and I’ll make sure to keep them. Otherwise, he’s getting a clean-swipe and bill of health to start anew.

Ahh, it’s good to be back.

Edit: Also, I’ll be spreading his Blog-Attention-Grabbing-Thing (wow, major brain fog regarding the word) around later for the blogs that are new from my hiatus, or those that relocated to new ones that I’m not yet following. I’ll get on that, I promise.

Okay, I know that I’m building hype or something here, but I can officially announce that the layout for the new Tumblr has been finished and the last touches are being applied (ie; updating old information, getting everything finalized, etc).

Valoren should be up and running again as early as tonight (if I feel up to it after I go out), but no later than Monday. 

I’m almost here again! Ahhh, I’m excited~

Again -- For any of you I previously was writing with, please let me know if you want to carry over a thread we were working on. You can access my thread tracker from the sidebar on this blog and I’ll make sure to bring it to the new blog. If you can remember sending me an Ask that you really wanted me to answer, tell me about that too and I’ll carry that over to the new blog as well. Otherwise, everything will be purged and we’ll start fresh with threads!

This does not mean that relationships/friendships/etc that Valoren had previously built will be dumped. I will be contacting everyone she was involved with in some form or fashion (or you can reach out to me) and we’ll clarify if we want things to still stand or if we want to start over!

I can’t wait to be back. <3

It’s official, everyone! voice-oftheempire is now officially ARCHIVED and the process has begun to create the new home for Valoren. As that blog nears completion, you will receive updates here regarding that, as well as ETAs for the actual return date for me. I will also be dropping the URL so that everyone can come play, of course, because hot dang if I don’t miss you beautiful writers.

Basically, it is all really official, big things are happening, and I’m excited.

Again -- as a reminder -- all Asks and Drafts that are currently in this account will be dumped when I move over to the new blog. If there is a thread that you and I are involved in, or you remember sending me an ask that you really want me to answer, let me know and I will make sure to carry that over just for you because I love you.

Much of Valoren isn’t going to be changing between this blog and the next either, so don’t worry about that too much. You’ll see: it’s all good things.

Thank you for 100+ Followers!

No one expected me to make a serious banner, did they? Good, I’m really glad. Because all you’re getting is my Mun representation getting kicked in the stomach, which surmises my shock over getting 100+ of you following Valoren.

I was shocked -- okay, still am -- that enough of you want to read about Valoren and interact with her. I’m still shocked to be a part of a roleplaying group that openly embraces and encourages original characters and takes them under wing, because I remember when that was a major no-no. I’m so glad that you all have, though, because I’ve met some of the greatest people because of this blog (and @morvokk too, but most everyone that follows me on him follows on Val too, so). You guys were there for me when I was going through the roughest period of my life, and you’re still there for me while I’m continuing to navigate it.

You stay by me. You send me little gifts. You brighten my day. You keep me waking up and logging in and checking things and just. . . I really don’t know where I would be without all of you. So, first and foremost, thank you. Thank you so much for being here, for writing with me, and for becoming my friend(s). Thank you for being you.

I love you all. I really, truly do.

Now, I’ll stick all of the other stuff under a Read More and hope I’m doing this right, because pfffft who knows if I am. <3

@galrannoodle : Okay, so, while we haven’t really talked too terribly much, here’s a stupid story time: I wouldn’t actually be on here and a member of the RP community if it hadn’t been for your drawings in the first place. Your blog was the first one I found back when I first started nosing around the Voltron fandom around July/August, which is when I first got very sick from a bad allergic response to a medication. It caused my chest (heart and lungs, specifically) to respond wrong. It hurt, it felt weak, and I was terrified. But I found your Throk, who had problems not identical to mine but certainly had chest issues and I drew strength from that, weirdly. I got through something difficult because of your art, and I’ve only told this story once and quickly tried to cover it up because I was embarrassed, but hey, now it’s out there in perma. Once I recovered I decided I wanted to be a part of the community that had inspired me to keep going and fighting, so here I am. Thank you. You have no idea what that did for me at the time.

The first time you messaged me I literally started shaking like some sort of frightened kitten because I was scared I would say something and ruin the chance at building a relationship with you. I later realized that fear was unwarranted, but hoo boy in the beginning I was terrified. Now I enjoy our talks, and I love our writing that we do together. You’re definitely one of the things that keeps me around with this fandom. <3
