I played through Ghost of a tale in the span of the past 3 days and It is a really charming game with awesome characters. A Bit buggy here and there but nothing game breaking. Big recommend!!!

° he often doesn't drink if this is his rotgut, he asks the apprentice(s) to drink it, but something like beer he drinks from time to time

° random sad fact: not very sad, but he has a wife and children who awaits him for months, and he afraids his family could be in danger because of his mistakes

° btw Faustus isn't a brilliant husband, he greatly loves his work

° at party he's trying to get others drunk

° doesn't swear in classic way, only euphemisms (often crude)

° to be honest, he isn't a fan of tactile side of life

° didn't receive any valentine, but he doesn't care

° biographical scale: good (Rott family was wealthy enough for Faustus to attend a top university)

° happy: mushrooms (jokes aside, he likes to study them)

° unhappy: someone spilled all reagents

° good friends: Torse Harrum and Bando, enmity was with Volker

° Commander was very surprised when it turned out Faustus was still in the DHK, and let him go; Gisley was annoyed that Faustus was involved with smuggling

° Faustus has some scars, because he gets burned while working

° his ancestors were redheaded (rott [germ.] means «red»)

° he's really great mycologist, but we'll be honest he's pretty shitty doctor

° he's a family guy, his lady is a midwife, she still works for Osdrik (because the husband's sins don't concern the wife), their elder sixteen-years-old son is a scholar

° postcanon: when Commander discovered that Faustus's sentence had expired, he let him go without any problem (Commander had a lot on his plate, forgive him)

° postcanon-2: he'll be selling the best rotgut in the county when he gets home
