I still love this manga so much and the people who are still actively creating, but I can't help but feel a change in what I see in the media over the past year. Even the announcement of a second season of the anime didn't create the same level of anticipation it would have before. I'm not sure if it's because the audience hasn't warmed up enough, the lack of official updates (I'd really love to see more specials from Ryoko Kui), or I'm just tired of similar content (no offense)

maybe for that old passion to return, something new and conceptually fresh is needed. It would be cool if that came to my head

I fixed Scanlan so I wouldn't have to suffer every time I looked at him in the show

I'm so frustrated right now because I was really looking forward to something more faithful to the source material, even if it was a bit of a twist. Like a cool, tanned, scarred guy in Persian silks and all that. I'm a huge fan of the Meatman storyline, and I'm disappointed that it looks like it won't happen, nor will there be any proper character development for Scanlan? Anyway, now we'll have to deal with Fat Elvis being the future champion of the Knowing Misstress, I guess 🥹

How many plotlines are ongoing in Dungeons of Chicken Curry? I don't speak Russian and are forced to use autotranslate captions but it's very intriguing but I don't know if they're all part of the same story or different ones? All I can follow is the subplot of Talala the gnome 😭

Chicken Curry Dungeons features three main storylines, each connected to a different worlds:

Hell: the story about the fallen knight Sphincterion (yeah, remember, it's a rofl show), who seeks to bring the war between worlds to Heaven;

Earth: the storyline of Sphincterion's former comrade Larisa confronting him and trying to save mortals from being captured by demonic forces;

Heaven: the story of Talala, who became a warrior of light, whose goal is to stop the war and lure the Dark Lord to the good side.

The events of all these storylines mutually influence each other and expand the lore, and characters in them often switch sides, moving from one storyline to another.

There are also side plots that also influence the state of the world:

Balan Clan: the storyline about how the old vampire Dan Balan and his family confront the Vampire Council, which serves the forces of Hell. It is also about non-human races that are met with hostility towards them.

The Sun Squad: the storyline of the family of former cannibals, Sofia, Julian, and Lesha Lector, the last of whom turns out to be the divine descendant of the Dark Lord, who is being hunted.

Dragon: great dragon Gimmiloot drove the gnomes from their homeland, but after some time, he encountered their resistance and is now plotting revenge.

Dododis's Odds and Ends Shop: the unsuccessful merchant Dododis turned out to be a notorious crime boss in possession of a mysterious artifact, the Mask of Janus. Dododis's sister, Christina, faced numerous difficulties both in business and in her complicated personal life.

If you only need an understanding of the main plot, you can check out Talala, Sphincterion, and Larisa's storylines. But I assure you, the others are also worth checking out, especially the Sun Squad, which is directly connected to the main plot 🙏🏻

Yooo you're also in the Chicken Curry Dungeons fandom! Wish there were official subtitles in English, I have to use google translate and it's kind of awkward at times.

My favorite character is the merman guy played by Slava Kopeykin since the adventures are mostly set on land and he just literally crawls everywhere 😂🧜‍♂️

I understand it can be difficult translating 2-3 hour-long videos from foreign language, especially when players often make puns and jokes about obscure topics (for me, translating the Critical Role campaign felt about the same way haha)

I like Slava's character too! Also he has great teamwork with Sasha Bortich, and they and Gogen Solntsev are working really hard on their costumes for the episodes, love 'em
