more fauxbubu mods. Trying to recover my confidence before I go back and re-make Labuboe's head.

The first one is finished, the second one... I'm still feeling out. Not sure where to take her once i've finished attaching the horns and wings. (Which, I don't know why the scale of the wings is great and the scale of the horns is huge, because I took both from the same plush pattern! But clearly future horns shall be scaled down.)

That's a bald labubu in progress. Color blocked, because you might as well.

Her face is currently only friction fit and needs a touch of glue to stay together. And get connected to it all.

Does anyone know of a European glue that connects cotton to PLA?

#fauxbubu #she is so bald #the seam allowance on this is minuscule #I've had to do this entire thing by hand #the limbs have.... issues #mostly because of the print file giving my slicer grief #the safety closures are too flimsy and snap #like I see how they make stuff easier to insert #but they do not make them more secure #no I've not done butt stuff to it yet #it's surprising how well this is shaping up even with a woven fabric #zero loft to hide behind too #10/10 patterning job #instructions and pattern marks need some fine tuning for clarity but the pattern is sound #you're just gonna seam rip a few erroneous assumptions

Seeking opinions about whether these dye jobs are acceptable as skin tones or just kinda fucked up. :/

For reference, both are RIT DyeMore Synthetic. Left was sandstone for a out 10 minutes, right was chocolate brown (added to the used sandstone) for about 5 minutes.
