@black-and-whitecrow, you replied to [this post] of mine saying:
wait i thought that radfems don't believe in [asexuals]????? when did that change?
Great question!
Radfems have Schrodinger's belief system.
A radfem is a person who goes into a queer feminist space and tries to pass off racist, bioessentialist and/or neopuritan propaganda as feminism.
Radfems “believe” in whatever makes their propaganda sound more convincing to a given audience at a given time.
You recognize a radfem by their their impact, not their beliefs.
Radfem propaganda foments discord, creates division and undermines solidarity in progressive communities.
For example,
Some radfems will go into queer kink spaces and try to convince the community there that asexuals are the enemy. Usually this is accompanied by bioessentialist rhetoric claiming that it is "unnatural" to not experience sexual attraction, or scapegoating that blames the asexuals for the censorship and oppression that has been imposed by conservatives.
And they may well dupe people into agreeing with them.
Other radfems will go into asexual spaces and tell the community that queer people who are into kink and porn (including asexuals who are into kink and porn) are the enemy. Usually this is accompanied by neopuritan rhetoric that aces are pure precious innocent babies that need protection, and censoring sexual entertainment and criminalizing kink practices is the only way to keep the ace community safe.
And they may well dupe people into agreeing with them.
These radfems don't agree with each other on their beliefs. They're not a monolith.
The one belief radfems do have in common is the belief that, "My marginalized identity is valid, but that other person's marginalized identity is not valid. In fact, not only are they not valid, but they're a threat. Not only are they a threat, but they're an even bigger threat than the people in power who are actually oppressing and marginalizing me.
