This is one of the most beautiful moments if you ask me-if not the greatest like look at Gubi-from what little we show of him he seems to be harsh, if not a bit of an ablest (though by then I think he moved passed it) and I think he’s the type of guy that is hard for him to show his affection, he had a difficult relationship with his son, and now-with the video he must have realized what his son was going though-and found out much to his shock and heartbreak that Abed thought he blamed her for leaving(or realized his son know-I was never quite sure what they meant by that) and the way he just looked at Abed and mostly saw how most parents always view their child: being little and well their own little child. Also look at Abed’s face when Gubi said he will play for his class he looks startled he honestly thought Gubi would still say no, he just wanted to tell him what he always thought but could never how to tell him also remember when I said Gubi seems like the type of guy to not know how to show affection-but this time he however awkwardly wanted to show Abed that he does love him with that pat on the shoulder.
