Lord, from what little I know, it sounds like there are spiritual hurts here that have pushed him into things that claim to offer what he needs, but, God, we know that You alone can satisfy. You alone can heal and restore and mend. Lord, I pray You please put people and circumstances in his path that will point him to you. I pray You open his eyes and his heart to the truth of You and the truth of his circumstances. Father God, I pray for spiritual healing. I pray for his salvation. I pray he comes to know You as Savior and Lord of his life, and that You will change him from the inside out. God, I also pray for mental, emotional, and physical healing where it is needed. God, I ask that You please move in his life in way that's too hard to ignore. I pray You please find him where he is and give him the hope and the love and the grace he so desperately needs from You. the term “special interest” is a weird chose of wording-Special Interest when  not used in the political sense, is an autistic symptom (*it can also be used in ADHD)

But like-is the term used in Mukuro's Japanese profile as well or is it just a weird translation chose? And if it’s in the original version, did team DR misuse it as just saying “extreme interest” or are they low key saying Mukuro is autistic? (the last would obvs just be your own guessing, unless they said something at one point.)

Can you tell me more specifically where this is from so I can check the wording? Another End to me is the unused happy ending of the first game that was in one of the DR3 blu-ray books, and I don’t remember that having profiles?

My instinct is that the original wording is something along the lines of 特に好き or something like that–I get the sense that the translator working on this was trying to say “a particular interest” or “especially likes” etc., but I’d prefer to check to be sure.

I mean, there’s plenty of textual evidence to work with if you wanted to hc any of the SHSLs as neurodivergent though–their talents are arguably special interests already, imo.

Yeah fun fact-it's not just an autism thing, bottle waters put minerals in it in different ways, to give a different taste to them, I'm autistic too (maybe?), ice mountain is my favorite which kinda sucks since Nestle owns it.

Hey, the patch of the sky post, reminds me of a scene in the man in the iron mask, one of the main characters spent his entire life in a dungeon with an iron mask, so there was this one part where he climbed up the the window to stare at the moon.

I haven’t seen that, but that sounds very whumpy indeed. I love the idea of a character sitting on the roof maybe after being rescued, and just looking up at the moon and stars and knowing that now they can see them without any bars or glass blocking their view.

They are several characters from this story that I think COULD be interrupted as being autistic, and three that I think are straight up autistic but uh the series is heavy story handed, so I'm cautious as I HATE spoilers, so instead I would just give your two characters from the office as you watch it (Michael and Dwight), and a recent character (as in me watching it), Hank Hill,

Oh, galaxy brain! But yeah, I completely agree that Michael and Dwight are on the spectrum, Michael’s lack of boundaries and tendency to say questionable things definitely come from a lack of social understanding and Dwight being a stickler for the rules and general intensity are pretty good signs of it!

I never have seen King of the Hill (which is the only place where I found a Hank Hill, correct me if I’m wrong, as I only know a lot about very little lmao), but I can guarantee that you are right!
