Who are your favorite characters from DC? Do you have any favorite ships?

Oh boy, I have a lot, so… let’s go for the top five in each case.

Fave characters:

Jason Todd - sad, angry tragic boy of my dreams

Dick Grayson - tragic not quite so sad but secretly still angry flippy bird boy

Koriand’r/Starfire - tol, golden alien warrior princess with the prettiest hair, feels everything, has many opinions and not afraid to shout them at everyone

Slade Wilson - everyday working joe but his job is murdering ppl, loves his kids but physically incapable of showing affection so is manipulative as fuck about it instead

Damian Wayne - smol and angry with a secretly soft interior like candy, raised as an assassin, now trying to be a good person and struggling with it

Fave Pairings:

Dick/Jason - two favourite boys together, no question this is the best

Slade/Dick and Slade/Jason - put these in one because the appeal for both is the same. Two boys with gruff, not super affectionate mentor find sexual frustration with another gruff, not super affectionate man but this one’s wholly willing to take advantage of that. Has excellent range on whether that plays out good or very, very bad

Dick/Kori - perfection. Sweetness and light. Canon has never done a greater pairing and I’m forever bitter they broke up because superheroes can’t have stable, happy, long term relationships. Sorry Roy, but I kind of want those funeral rumours to be true

Jason/Roy - two lost boys find each other, help balance their individual struggles, and will fight anyone who hurts the other

JoyFire - as above but throw in golden alien warrior princess too A+++
