I’ve been MIA forever, sorry. I’m fine, just very, very busy. And who knows if I’ll ever find the time to finish my WIPs - probably not. But I thought I’d pop in and say hi anyway, and recommend one of my favorite Everlark fics ever: 26.2 by the very talented authoresskika.

I have to confess that it took me at least 15 pages to understand why it’s called 26.2 😂 (metric system, anyone? 😂), but trust me - this is a fic everyone in the fandom should read. ❤️

Summary: Staring at people is commonly acknowledged as rude. Staring at one person in particular is borderline creepy. But what is Jeon Jungkook supposed to do, stuck at home due to the quarantine with his window as his only contact with the outside world? And how is he supposed to control himself when this window opens right onto his cute neighbor on the other side of the courtyard?

I was gifted this lovely story for a fic exchange and it’s so well-written, so good and promising!! I can’t wait for what’s to come, the writer deserves some love and support!

But as he grows closer to the weird, captivating stranger that kidnaps him off the docks, he begins to think there might be more for him in this sleepy, seaside town than he first believed.

Jimin is just trying to piece himself together, find ways to live.

On knowing when to let go and when to hold on.

Not only is it a beautifully written story, dragging you in and tugging at your heartstrings all along, but it also conveys a new perspective, one that I’ve never read about in the fandom yet (and I’ve read a damn lot...) that makes it unique and important. The characters are so touching and relatable in more ways than we think, both struggling with their own deception and disappointment, trying to draw some new strength out of them. It shows a powerful combination of realism and poetry. The kind of story one remembers for a long time (I will)

This is not a Jikook fic but this is the gift I had for the exchange and it is so good!!! I asked for the Quarantine trope (coping mechanism yeah...) and it’s been respected to a fault. It’s very well written, and fun and sweet! I love it and can’t wait for the rest!
