#2017bestnine vs 2017 fave nine. It’s always surprising to me which of my photos end up with the most likes. My favourite photos of the year almost never make it - the ones people like tend to be the everyday photos, whereas I like the epic shots. Last year during Beloved Body Peace, @viviennemcm encouraged us to create our own ‘best nine’ if our actual best nine didn’t reflect our own thoughts. This year, I’ve put both side by side. I don’t think either is better or worse - they’re just different sides of the same coin. The internal and external value of what I put into the world. It’s kind of cool actually.
