Here’s some screenshots I made during my favourite quest from Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. Mary is still one of my fav characters from AC series :D And that look for Edward... XDDDD (Sorry for hungarian subtitles :) )

DA 30 Day Challenge Day 7: Favourite Quest
Night Terrors.
Hands down I loved this quest. I actually have a save just before it so I can do it again and again with different companions.
For me, playing the Dragon Age games is about character, and this quest gives you a great opportunity to delve into characters. My usual party for it is Isabela, Fenris and Anders, but I’ve played it with everyone.
From the moment Sebastian chucked a hissy about it I knew it was going to be interesting. I was also obscenely delighted at the opportunity to boot Anders into the fade - I really REALLY wanted to see what happened there. The quest itself is pretty easy - nothing exceptionally complex (although I overpowered Fenris the first time and he killed me DEAD in one shot after the Pride Demon got to him) go here, fight that, do this puzzle, but what I love about it is the opportunity it gives us to learn more about our companions.
What makes each of them tick? What can a demon offer them to make them betray you? Each companion’s triggers were amazing to learn about - Aveline’s broke my heart a little, Isabela’s made me laugh my head off (I like big boats, I cannot lie) and the option to kill Justice (although I’ve never done it in a canon playthrough) is fascinating.
The apologies afterwards are also heartbreaking, or in Fenris’ case, hilarious. “I betrayed you in the fade but it was actually your fault!” (god I love that elf).
I was deeply unsatisfied that we couldn’t pull Justice into a room and have a good long talk with him, but it was consistent not to be able to - after all we’re meant to be saving a mage, not having existential chats about the nature of Anders’ possession - but apart from that I love this quest to bits. I only hope they have another fade sequence in a DLC at some point. Pull us all away from that stigma of The Fade in Origins - it is POSSIBLE to make it an interesting place to be and Night Terrors gave us a little glimpse of how. I mean REALLY how on EARTH did they manage to make A REALM OF DREAMS boring in DA:O? REALLY? BIOWARE YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG.
