Favour Ofili advances to the women's 200-meter semifinal in Paris 2024
On Saturday, August 4, Nigerian athlete Favour Ofili won her heat and earned a spot in the women's 200-meter semi-final with a time that was a season best of 22.24 seconds. Ofili finished second overall, just behind Gabrielle Thomas of the United States, who ran 22.20 seconds, after defeating Dina Asher-Smith of Great Britain and Gina Bass-Bittaye of the Gambia.
