@faxjia
today has not been iseul’s day to say the least. he woke up late this morning, slept through his alarm, went to class with tooth paste in his chin only to find he failed his exam. he thought he’d cheer himself up by splurging on lunch only to realize he left his wallet in his apartment and only had a few coins in his pocket. after a lunch of semi-cold coffee and a bag of shrimp chips, he made it through his last class of the day, thinking maybe things were turning up only to get soaked on the walk home.
so he did what any else respecting person would do, decided to hold up in his apartment, watch movies and order take out. but he couldn’t even win at that. he got to his apartment building only to find his landlord standing in the hallway, telling the rest of the tenants that the power was out and would be out for the forseeable future. and so iseul did the next best thing, he changed into warm clothes and made his way over to jia’s. he thought he might be able to talk her into a nice laidback evening, maybe a movie. but he should have known.
he shakes his head looking around her apartment and anywhere but at the book they’ve been trying to decipher for the last 30 minutes. “i have no idea what it says. the handwriting is worse than mine. why are we doing this again?”
