As a person in their 30s who’s never actually read the damn series, I finally decided to get ‘em in audiobook format and listen through it while I work. I’m somewhere in the middle of volume 4 (I don’t care about spoilers; I’ve lived long enough to incidentally know who-all dies and who the half-blood prince is,) and despite the writing itself being middling to atrocious, it’s a fun romp and I’m enjoying it well-enough. But y’know what would make it MORE enjoyable? If it was 1000% more gay. I’m fully expecting to travel to a gayed-up version of Hogwarts tonight; can’t wait!
