Hold me, console me (Satoru x fem!reader)
Satoru was always clingy when it was just the two of you. Keeping your relationship a secret was surely taking a toll on both of you but tonight was different. He had teleported straight into your living room, hair disheveled, shirt torn, breaths ragged, still smelling of curse goo. But before you could stand up or ask anything, he was already on the floor in front of your couch, hugging your waist and burying his face in your thighs, his voice a broken record player repeating the same heartbreaking mantra.
“Baby, don’t leave me. Please, baby. I’ll die!”
“Toru.. I’m not going anywhere. Sweetheart, what’s wrong?”
You managed to ask, your heart cracking at the way he clutched your sides, trying your best to soothe him as you ran your fingers through his snowy locks.
He looked up then, eyes bloodshot, holding your face like you’re the most precious treasure on earth, and to him, you truly were. He swallowed past the lump in his throat, leaning closer and pressing his forehead to yours and just breathing you in, trying to ground himself in your presence as you traced soothing circles on his back.
He slowly sat up, never letting go of you, his thumbs brushing the apples of your cheeks reverently. His eyes scanned your face as if he were drinking you in for the first and the millionth time and it still wasn’t enough. With practiced ease he pulled you into his lap, tucking your hair behind your ear as he asked softly, his ocean eyes shining with vulnerability.
“Never leave.”
You opened your mouth to reply but your words were swallowed as Satoru’s lips found yours in a tender, aching kiss, his grip tightening around your waist as he pulled you flush against him. This wasn’t the hungry, passionate kiss as was the norm with him, it was slow, deep, meaningful.
His other hand slid from your cheek to the back of your head, grabbing your nape as he swiped his tongue against your lips and gently pulled your head back to deepen the kiss. You tasted like cherries and chocolate and the feeling of your pulse fluttering under his thumb made his chaotic thoughts cease, because nothing else mattered in this moment, just you, safe in his arms, forever his.
