Weekend Recipe: INGREDIENTS • 1/2 C Red Lentils (Laal Masur) • 1 /2 C Split Green Gram (Moong Daal) • tablespoon Garlic Ginger Paste • 1 teaspoon Paprika Powder • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder • 1/2 teaspoon Corriander Powder • Chopped Garlic Cloves • 6-7 Dry Red Chillies • 1/2 teaspoon Black Seeds • 1-2 tablespoons Oil • A pint of Cumin Seeds • 1 Stock Cube . . . METHOD 1. Soak the lentils in water for 30 minutes. Clean & Rinse 2. Heat 3-4 cups of water and add lentils to it before it comes to boil. Keep a medium flame. 3. Add Garlic Ginger paste along with other spices. 4. Add 1 Knorr chicken cube 5. Cook on medium flame until water is dry and your lentils are of a smooth, runny consistency 6. Turn off flame. . PREPARE TARKA (TEMPERING) 1. Heat Oil/Ghee in pan 2. Fry Garlic Cloves, Cumin Seeds and Chillies on a high flame until the ingredients change their color. 3. Pour over the lentils. . . .
