Took 6 years for my first bbf and I to finally meet up but nothing beats a 17 years old friendship.

And what he did was absolutely the sweetest thing anyone has done for me- he used my photo for a currency, yes a freaking currency! I was the first person he thought of because I was the first person he shared his dream with.

12 years later, he's closer to his ultimate dream, the biggest project of life.

I've always struggled to make friends, especially in a new country but it is true friends like this that I KNOW I would never trade them for anything. Words cannot express how much I miss and love them.

I don't want people who just come and go; I am not interested in people who don't matter to each other; I crave real connection.
