Derek has an impeccable case closure record, but this case is drawing out longer than usual. Partly because he’s trying to bait the hacker into hacking his uncle’s account, and partly becasue he’s never been so intrigued by someone who doesn’t seem to have a motive behind his actions. He’s not targeting specific people for revenge, he’s not trying to make a statement.
