A few days had passed since Amaru had gotten comfortable with his new surroundings. It was a breath of fresh air, quite literally, considering the son of the emperor wasn't allowed to roam so recklessly as a normal civillian would-- a privilidge that he envied.
He spent his time, if not confined to classes, outside; where he could not only feel the soft breeze of a pleasant day, but also a feeling that he grew to love - the feeling of grass beneath his feet, legs, fingers. It was so beautifully unfamiliar to him, that he felt like he should salvage it while he could. So he layed, arms spread out perpendicular to his torso, while his legs had a comfortable space between them.
Quiet. He had been so used to the bustling of the palace that peaceful silence was unknown until this moment, where he stared up at a blue sky.
It wasn't long until it was disturbed by scuffling, an obvious noise of someone coming closer. Amaru immediately sat up, a look of slight irritation making its mark on his face as his eyebrows furrowed together, but almost as soon as he saw the figure of a person approaching, the expression dropped.
He recognised this person. It wasn't someone he knew personally but, someone... a face he had definitely seen before.
