I love writing Byleth as the little freak she was always meant to be. Strange bug-eyed mercenary girl who doesn’t speak much suddenly shows up at your sword school and is apparently the daughter of the captain of the knights? Okay. Also she’s only ever been around her father and other mercenaries and has no idea how to talk to people her age.

Another Byleth! It was super interesting seeing the difference in design between the two genders of Byleth. I think it was pretty rad.

So playing fbyleth for the first time to get cutscenes and .... I finally know why I like mbyleth more ... like ... why are her eyes like that, why can't she have normal sized eyes?
