The day had finally come- the one Paprika had set for her big make over and self recreation. She came to this nebulous place at the very beginning, and had since drifted about through events and eclipses, the coming and going of a rotating household, and a lot of self reflection. One of her big revelations was that she needed to find her own path, not the one her parents would have enjoyed seeing. Sure, blacksmithing and tinkering might as well have been her blood at one point, but now... Now it was just work for the lonely.

That's why she was at the salon first,having grown her hair out a bit over the past few months. It was a simple, if lengthy process, taking her bloody red locks, straightening them, and then dyeing all of it blue. She had already gotten a new outfit for the winter to color coordinate it, which was going to be changed into after her hair was finally done.

After everything was done, Paprika looked in the mirror, temptingly lowering the hat into her head before recalling it would take a while before the dye would fully set. Still, she felt refreshed, just in time for the next WinterFES.
