…Muse A & Muse B met in the wastes and have been traveling together for many years now.

(A) they settle down, finding their own place of stay in the woods and begin to live a nice life (even developing a romantic relationship) but soon their serene living is interrupted by a visitor who seems to be more than meets the eye. (Inspired by — Z for Zachariah, It Comes At Night, A Quiet Place)

(B) Muse A & B have been living together for a while now, romantic feelings and all…& thats it. They’re just cute as fuck while they try to rebuild their lives together. Lots of hiking to find supplies, legit farming & the occasional ‘he pulled a gun thinking it was another human but it was just a c coyote’. (Inspired by — elements of: A Quiet Place, Bird Box. )

…Muse A and their ward (dog/child/a pocket sized Kenny Chesney) come across a small settlement in the wasteland belonging to Muse B. At first, Muse B is reluctant to let the stranger stay but after some persuading (and aid from a puppy eyed ward) they agree to let them settle down. A insists on helping around the ‘farm’ and soon A & B grow closer. (Inspired by — The Road, 28 Days Later)

(A) Muse A failed to mention, is that they were on the run & they’ve tracked them all the way to Muse B’s hideaway.

(B) Muse A struggles with the loneliness of the end of the world, and pushes Muse B away when they need them most. Muse B ends up being taken away and Muse A and their ward embark into the wasteland to find them.

(C) Muse turns out to be a traitorous beech.

(D) ??

…It’s the end of the world as we know it and…sometimes you just gotta find someone to freak out about it with. Muse A & B live in the same apartment complex and have rarely spoken but they just might be exactly what the other needs to survive all the hijinks that the apocalypse has to offer. (Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, Last Man on Earth)
