So I'm still terribly gutted from yesterday and needed time to write this out. I saw a post about sergi(who I regrettably follow on Twitter) and lately him and Rafa have been SUPER annoying. The post that was floating around was of LE getting hit while biking?? Like wtf lol. While those frustrations are valid yet wayyyyy exaggerated, they are true in a sense. The members of the team are fantastic they truly are. There is not much tinkering someone needs to do with it. BUT there has been a decrease in play the past couple of months. Something I'm glad Enrique added(which I think comes from how Suarez plays) is the long balls given from the space created from the front three. Now, what kind of space are they creating if Neymar and Messi have to drop in the midfield?? Suarez is a specimen but we can't leave it all to him. We also can't keep trying to mask our inability to have a consistent backbone in midfield by having Neymar and Messi drop in. Both fantastic in the midfield but overloading the sides has always worked for us. Which draws more people from their midfield to cover MSN. Alleviating pressure for our midfield to create chances. The PSG game outlined a bunch of flaws we have and unai clearly did his homework. In no way would I call for instability in the club like getting rid of LE in the middle of the season. I only hope that either LE starts getting it right or the players just take it back on themselves to go back to our 4-3-3 where Neymar and Messi create danger on the wings. If not, this could only get worse. I could only watch, support and wish them the best. Visca Barca y visca catalunya!
