I think FCPX 10.0.8 is supposed to have fixed the green flashes bug and am curious to know if anybody has experienced greenframeitis since updating.

(In case somebody hasn't experienced it yet, sometimes FCPX inserts single green frames at random throughout the footage.  It's annoying.)  

Here is an old LinkedIn thread--14 days old--in which someone asks for help on that problem.  The best response I saw came from one Rick Mattie. 

Rick Mattie's Green Glitch solution:

When you are in the Project Library, Go to the menu and select FIle / Delete Project Render Files... 

A new window appears and select All Rendered Files. Reopen the Project and let it render again. 

This worked for me to get rid on the green frames.

Personally, I’m still suspicious of Apple, I don’t think they have my interests at heart. And I don’t want to invest money in any of their hardware or software when they might drop features in new versions.
