— for the lost people
( ` was this the rainbow after a storm? there were absolutely no traces of blood, the echoes of bones shattering, the horrendous sight of the red pooled school — they were being played with and no one besides a select few knew about it. she still remembered the excruciating pain shooting up her spine before the pitch black overtook her and the feeling of complete helplessness that she for sure shared with the rest of the student body. yet, no one, absolutely no one, recalled that now minor detail part about their day. )
( ` her steps quicken when she reach the familiar hallway, desperately hoping to see a familiar face on her way so she could attempt to even ask what was really going on. myungjae, ilhoon — someone, she had to find them. she suddenly slows down upon seeing a familiar figure walking down the hallway and like her usual reckless self, she doesn't think. her legs are already taking her to where he is and her arms throw themselves in front of her before enveloping around the younger friend in relief — ) "are you okay? where were you? i couldn't find you, ilhoon, i thought--" ( ` she's out of breath and her heartbeat quickens to match the short-winded words that were rolling off of her tongue, but he's okay and that was enough of a relief to her. )
"i died and i thought you were all alone."
( ` she's getting strange looks from the people around them and honestly wishes they were the ones who have experienced what it feels like to have their spine snapped into two. her arms tighten around him and she pulls him closer. she's not sure if it was for her comfort or for his, but he's alive and she was content with that. )
