Shining rays of sunlight hit sleep heavy eyelids, causing previously black vision to turn red as the radiant glow lit thin blood vessels. Dazed fingers ran through tousled hair, smoothing back the strands that had fallen upon his face during his rest and Daehyun shifted slightly – directing his face out of the intruding light and back into the cool shadows that provided a means for more sleep. The cool blankets and strange scent around him did not cause him to panic. It was an all too familiar situation, anyway. If he tilted his head to the side, he was able to spot his discarded clothing scattered across the room, dropped carelessly as they had stumbled towards the bed. No doubt, the other half of his nights exploit was lying beside him. There was breath fanning his right shoulder blade and he turned slightly, seeing the man sleeping peacefully. Apparently their adventures had taken up a lot of energy.
Huffing quietly as he pushed wrinkled sheets off his bare torso, Daehyun sat up slowly. His body cried out in protest, pain shooting from his legs and pelvis, his shoulders stiff with knots. He rubbed sleepy eyes with the palms of his hands, clearing them of gunk so that he had a chance to look around and recollect fragmented thoughts. But fuck, his head hurt like crazy. Serves him right for drinking more than he could take. Then again, it happened every night and he always did the same thing. Cheolyong. The name of the man beside him came to the front of his mind. Drinks, dancing, touching. The eventual and hasty retreat back to his apartment. Daehyun couldn’t remember much, but he didn’t need to be a genius to piece together what he was doing in the stranger’s bed, why they were both naked and why his body hurt like fuck. Oh, and his throat felt raw.
Throwing back the thin blankets, groping fingers scrambled across the floor until he found the object of his search – his thick rimmed glasses, neglected from the night before. Sliding the plastic frames onto his nose, the world suddenly become defined and shapes became clearer. Good thing he hadn’t worn contacts, he doubted he would have had time to take them out before they crashed. Scooting closer to the other male, he folded his forearms over the slumbering man’s chest and canted his head to the side, attempting to wake him from his peaceful sleep. “Cheolyong.” His voice was hushed, lilting childishly as he stuck out his bottom lip. “Wake up.”
