Evil thought for your zombie au, (specifically after Bobby's been bitten!) Unsure if it fits into the canon but for the sake of angst I imagine Bobby being one of the first infected because he helped someone at the grocery store or something.
Julia and Erik walking in on Bobby sitting on his bed, hunched over trying to eat...something. Lost in the sauce double fisting whatever it is, lips peeling back in this uncanny grimace that Bobby would never make of his own volition. Super freaky. When they call his name he doesn't answer, and for a second they worry he's legitimately choking or is having an allergic reaction. Then they realize that Paco's tank is empty. Low and behold Bobby has Paco's shell in a death grip and is gnawing furiously at it, trying to stick his tongue and fingers in to get to the meat that the sick, quickly dominating zombie part of his brain knows is inside.
They manage to snap him out of it and of course Bobby is horrified. Hysterical. To everyone's relief when they put Paco down he cautiously peeps his head out, and he's unscathed! If not a little slobbered on.
