Quick MCU Jake headcanon (no pressure if this doesn’t fit in your fic — I just wanted to share). Since Ammit and Harrow are associated in the Moon Knight system’s minds with Wendy (at least based on my thematic reading of the show), when Jake says, “Hoy te toca perder,” to Harrow and Ammit, I believe he could also be saying those words to Wendy.
Marc and Steven have had some form of catharsis in confronting their mental construct of Wendy in the “white void” after trapping Ammit. They have finally been able to tell their mother that what she did to them was wrong. But Jake knows that it’s not enough. Jake needs Wendy to be stopped, for good, so that Marc and Steven can be safe and continue to process that primary wound. After all, he has taken on the burden of Khonshu in order to keep them safe. So, at least in my headcanon, I think that “Hoy te toca perder” could also refer to Wendy always getting the upper hand over them. Today is her turn to lose.

This makes me think of that one post that was going around with Marc as the head, Steven as the heart and Jake as the hands. He's the practical one, the actions speak louder than words kind of guy. Marc and Steven have their own way of processing that trauma and grief, and this was his. It's why they'd be so off put by it, because it's such a different way of finding closure than they would've chosen.
But Jake chooses it, not just for himself, but for all of them.
