I know that Dr. Umar has had trouble with finances concerning the school he has in Wilmington Delaware. New information has been put out by him that the city of Delaware is making it difficult for him. Dr Umar is not publicly funded and is operating as a non-profit. I know there's a lot of talk about him being a scammer, but I do not believe these accusations. I believe these accusations are deeply rooted in self-hatred. Dr. Umar has always shown the process he has been going through with this school every step of the way from the purchase of the two buildings to the renovation of those two buildings. It seems like to me and by his own account that the city of Wilmington is being difficult and has Miss handled this entire situation. He has paperwork that he can back up to prove these things, and I doubt people will believe them. People have been trying to make money off of this entire situation for the last 11 years. People do what they do best on YouTube is stir the pot and gossip. In my opinion, what Dr. Umar needs to do now is prepare to sue the city of Wilmington and go after any YouTuber that speaks defamation on his name. Most people who would like to donate are not donating because of the accusations that have no basis about the finances of the Frederick Douglass Marcus Garvey school.
