Day 7: Leonardo! Since I made Edward I had to make Leo to complete the bros! Though Rolf is the better archer I still love this guy =w=

Top 3 archers?

Oh. Oh no.

I don’t always train my archers very well. Like, my best archer from FE7 was Lyn because Rebecca and Will didn’t really work out. I also didn’t bring anyone who could use bows in for endgame of Radiant Dawn but I think that was more of a case of me forgetting to bring one (which either says something about me or my archers).

But anyway. The list. 

1. Shinon - I like his character the best out of everyone else I will list. I also like the challenge of trying to use him in Path of Radiance when he’s incredibly behind and I like the way he’s re-recruited (and how he has special conversations with the Greil Mercenaries). I don’t think he’s necessarily the best archer unit overall (just considering Radiant Dawn and Path of Radiance together) but he’s my favourite character. 

2. Rolf - I think he might the best overall in my experience as a unit but I don’t like kids as much. If there’s a choice between a kid and adult, or even a teen, I typically choose the older characters. However, that’s not to say that I hate his character - I find his supports with Tauroneo particularly interesting and the supports with Mist where he kind of struggles being both a kid and soldier.

3. Leonardo - I want to put him in second place because I do like him! I like him a lot and I am trying to hard to make him a good unit (even though I’m not taking him to endgame). He’s down in third though because while I like his potential a lot, it’s just potential. I can’t really justify putting potential above somebody who had the fortune of having a more feel fleshed out character.
