Every time I try looking up FE Shadows I feel like all I see is people saying its shit. And personally, I think saying its irredeemable is just wrong. Yes, I think that it has issues. I feel like the social deduction part doesn't have enough conseuqences. I'd like for bigger lobbies aside from just 3 players. And the gameplay is a little clunky.

But its been out for less than a day at this point. This game was shadow dropped with no warning and its going to have some kinks like all mobile games like this.

The art looks amazing, the music is up to par with the rest of the franchise and the main lord and their love interest are in a Rose of Versailles-esque romance that I personally love!!!

Yes, they made Lyn into an umamusume. Yes, the writing is campy. But this is the same franchise that had its latest mainline protag ressurect through the power of friendship and essentially have a "yes, I am iron man" moment but replace iron man with fire emblem. Camp is nothing new for this franchise.

What I'm scared of is this game essentially getting the Yugioh Cross Duel treatment; poor marketing, not getting many players, and then quickly being swept under the rug only to be maintained by private servers. And I really don't want that to happen. I just want people to give this game an actual chance.

To celebrate six months of Fire Emblem Shadows, the official Fire Emblem Shadows Twitter/X account posted a 4-panel manga depicting Kurt, Rose, and Carina! They say that "another one is coming soon", so there is confirmation that there's more on the way!

The other day, I was actually thinking what if Shadows did comics similar to the "A Day in the Life" that FEH does. And they actually did it! It seems like they are doing these because of the half anniversary, but I hope they continue making them after that as a regular thing (one can dream). I want to see more characters talking to each other and being cute! Which characters do you want to see depicted next?

Just spent like 4 straight hours playing Fire Emblem Shadows for those sweet canon yuri crumbs.

Gameplay was actually a bit more fun than I was expecting. Strategy is obviously less in your hands than the main series but it's not completely gone. In particular using movement abilities to dodge has meant the difference between victory and defeat in a few of my matches.
