lil girl things
i'm gonna be 100% honest with you chief, i hope nobody ever revolves anything else around tony stark ever again in the upcoming MCU era or whatever 'cause i'm very tired of that bitch
mario sunshine is coming to nso in august and i cant wait for a whole new generation of people to play it and realize that this game was designed by the actual devil
Iâm so frustrated constantly by this reactionary backlash era. Itâs cool to be bigoted again.
Remember folks! Transphobia and homophobia are intrinsically linked under patriarchy, cisheteronormativity, and misogyny.
Why is it bad to be trans? For the same reason itâs bad to be gay. It deviates from Normal Society. And Normal Society will enforce Normalness through violence.
We are not in a time and place where we can argue over whoâs allowed to use labels, whoâs allowed to be in the queer community, whoâs allowed to participate in our spaces. It is necessary now more than ever that we welcome people into our wider community who are oppressed under the same axis as us.
Do NOT debate the following questions on this post, make your own post.
Are polyam people queer? The distinction shouldnât matter to you when deciding whether to ally yourself with us. Polyam people deviate from cishet society and experience violence because of it. Wherever you stand on this question shouldnât stop you from defending polyamory.
Are cishet GNC people queer? Well society seems to think so. A femme man and a masc woman are deviant and dangerous to cishet society. If you consider them âdefinitely not queerâ, you still have a duty to ally yourself with this community.
Iâm not saying we canât debate these questions ever. But thereâs a time and a place. And that time and a place generally isnât in the ask box of some random miserable queer twenty something living with their abusive parents and experiencing discrimination in the workplace and so very clearly Going Through It. Maybe leave them alone and go make your own post.
above all else we should be allying ourselves within the community and with communities that experience the exact same axis of oppression as us, even if that oppression is different.
Cishet society will ALWAYS police every aspect of our beings. Donât reinforce the axis yall! It doesnât need any help!
(Before you all misinterpret this post: 1. Debating is not evil and Iâm not saying youâre evil for engaging in discourse 2. I am not inviting debate over whoâs allowed to be queer on this post 3. I am not saying we should just open the doors to literally everyone who wants to be in our spaces, thatâs a bad faith interpretation, and you should understand normal human beings can have more nuance than that)
Just this year, Niger and Belarus have imported Russiaâs playbook and have become the first countries to explicitly ban asexuality. Promoting or engaging in child free and unmarried lifestyle is a jailable offense. This will disproportionately affect women, who are now at risk of being accused of âpracticing asexualityâ by rejecting romantic and sexual advances.
Asexual people have been and always will be our allies. Asexuality is a threat to cishet society because it is deviant. Falling birth rates are a HUGE issue for the economy and the war machine. We NEED more bodies. And authoritarian governments are fully willing to force people, women especially, to have children.
Whether thatâs restricting birth control and abortion, banning âchild-free propagandaâ, oppressing queer marriage.
It does NOT matter whether or not you think the following groups are inherently queer or real: trans people, nonbinary people, bisexuals, asexuals, polyamorous people, cishet GNC people, he/him lesbians, leather/fetish players, so on and so forth
Incredibly notably, all of these groups (and more not included) are active threats to the fascist government and its cisheteronormativity, the patriarchy, pro-natalism, capitalism, conservatism, and authoritarianism.
Please ask yourself, is it genuinely helpful to tell a cishet leather daddy that heâs not welcome at pride? Or are you just policing a space that has since inception included kink and allies?
Is it protecting the community to drive an isolated trans woman off of tumblr, her one safe space, because she said sheâs a bisexual lesbian? Or are you just pushing vulnerable individuals out of the only spaces that welcome them?
We can worry about labels when they stop killing us.
Allyship between the fringe parts of our community, and with other marginalized communities is currently our priority.
Please drop nonfiction books, podcasts, YouTube channels, articles, essays, etc in the replies.
Hereâs a couple from me:
A Short History of Transmisogyny by Jules Gill Peterson - a must read for allies of trans fems
The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander - you cannot understand the systems of oppression in the USA without understanding racism and slavery

How do I explain to you people that interracial relationships are okay
Not every white person dating a POC is fetishizing. White people can be respectful and responsible when it comes to culture and relationships and not everyone has bad intentions.
Asian people can date Black people without you saying shit like âyour kids will be so prettyâ theyâre not dating for pretty kids. Theyâre dating bc they like each other.
Someone can dress their partner in clothing from their culture if they want. Someone can take their partner to cultural events if they want.
People in relationships can share cultures, experiences and love without it being toxic or skin deep.
Their partner isnât culturally appropriating. Their partner is being shown the ultimate form of love, bc their partner trusts them and loves them enough to share their history and heritage.
Yeah, dating someone from your culture is nice bc you automatically have similar experiences. But youâre not limited to dating people with the same experiences. Loving someone is sharing and growing and being together.
Interracial relationships arenât always toxic, and some of yâall need to stop projecting onto other people.
đ THIS đ đđđ
Calling ineterracial relationships toxic or fetishizing just seem like anti race mixing or racism with extra steps
This reminded me of this
We need to put the word cultural appropriation on the shelf until people start using it to mean âtaking from and misrepresenting a cultureâ instead of âhey letâs just bring back segregation but in a woke wayâ.
much love to both of you, mods! this blog and this-is-orientalism have both been amazing resources for me as an asian user looking for info and posts about orientalism. itâs helped me for sure, but also helped many of my friends recognize and call out âhey that was orientalist towards you wasnât itâ too, and iâm feeling very cherished and supported from it!! just having a place to easily find this kind of info is so nice, iâm truly loving the ripple effect iâve been seeing :D
thank you so much for leaving an ask!
CAUTION chicken crossing the dashboard please hold momentarily
the situation with harry potter is kind of unprecedented in some ways imo because it is maybe the largest media franchise in history to be created & owned by a single person who still has direct creative control over it. who is also a billionaire with significant cultural/political influence. like the usual "no ethical consumption under capitalism" type excuses shatter on impact when the bigoted author in question is logging onto twitter every day saying explicitly that when you buy the tim hortons ravenclaw donut she is using your donut money to fund the genocide of trans people. like with big franchises usually there's at least a little more diffusion of responsibility than this
Niche joke
What youâve got, boy, is hard to find I think about it all the time Iâm all strung out, my heart is fried I just canât get you off my mind

im sorry but why are so many leftists on this site calling black americans "amerikkkan". can you stop for a second and realize how fucked up and racist that is, jesus fucking christ
genuinely sometimes it feels like the only gender some trfs can conceptualise anyone being is female. Like, you hear it when they talk about forcefemming cis men and speculating on them being eggs. You hear it when they call afab non-binary folks theyfabs, or otherwise make constant reference to their agab. You hear it when they talk about trans men with the same gendered insults weâve been hearing our whole lives, when they call us cunts and bitches and whiny and pooners. You hear it when they talk about non-binary identities being stepping stones to binary ones (in the case of amab nb folk, stepping stones to transfemininity, and in the case of afab nb folk, stepping stones to detransitioning). You hear it when they talk about afab trans folks having the âprivilegeâ of detransitioning âany time we wantâ, like being female is just a truth weâre putting off. You hear it when theyâre perfectly happy to misgender transphobic cis men, but donât do the same to transphobic cis women. You hear it when a character being headcanoned as transfem is treated as gospel, and a character being headcanoned as transmasc is torn to shreds. You hear it when a cis man wearing feminine clothes is treated like an egg, and when a trans man wearing feminine clothes is accused of actually being cis. You hear it when they joke about no one actually wanting to be a man, about how no one really actually likes being one, and how everyone would be happier as a woman.
I could spend a few paragraphs highlighting how this thinking is incredibly binaristic and how it views dysphoria as a solid basis for morality, rather than a personal feeling of discomfort, or I could just say that itâs more than ok to be masculine, to be a man, to be anything other than feminine or a woman. Itâs more than ok to be non-binary, xenine, atrinary, something inhuman, something genderfucky, something not quite any of these things. Iâd even encourage it. And if you want to be feminine, to be a woman, a girl, or anything close, Iâd encourage that too.
everyone be whoever you want forever. We only have this life as weâre living it. Donât let others make it theirs; itâs only ever going to be yours.
Comm!
