wait but idk if daniel's actually dead, knowing this show we can't assume anything until we see the body!!
It felt like a death to me. Did anyone catch talking dead? That would confirm it.

Do you think that Chris is really trying to kill Alicia and Madison? Or is he just an awkward teen?
I think they are playing it that way for dramatic tension and it will turn out to be something else going on. But I feel like this is going to get him or someone else killed, so his actions and inactions are still pretty dangerous :/
Just because frank dillane is biracial it doesn't make nick biracial ;) but also he's white either way he doesn't even look POC so.
he doesn’t even look POC so
Do me a favour and keep this ignorant garbage out of my inbox.
"As for chris not all italians are white, i know italians who are not white as well as history where italian roots come from a lot of different backgrounds you can tell in their looks that they are not from white decent though they have some white in them. They are not white". Can folks stop being so uneducated? Those Italians who "don't look white" are simply Mediterranean. Olive complexion doesn't necessarly mean PoC. 1/2
2/2 All those Italians who, to certain uneducated Americans, “don’t look white” are Mediterranean, so Caucasian (exactly like lots of Greeks, Spanish, French, Irish). I suggest that anon to search for “Mediterranean race” and educate themselves.
It’s unfortunate, but there are a lot of people who associate skin tone with race. People who are a certain shade of brown are automatically considered POC. And POC with lighter skin are whitewashed. I just assumed since the character was a POC that the actor was too, so it was disappointing to learn otherwise. I don’t know why, but I expected better from this show. Lorenzo is a good actor, but him not being a POC is a real problem. Especially for a show that is supposed to be boasting a diverse cast. I really need non POC to stop auditioning for POC roles. There are tons of Latinx actors who deserve opportunities. And actually Chris is half-Polynesian too so that’s even more people being denied work.
There are people going around saying that Nick is white, because his mother and sister are. I remember this same thing happening with bellamy so i was just wondering what you thought?
Much like with Bellamy, we don’t really know a lot about Nick’s father. He could easily be a POC. Maybe he and Alicia have different biological fathers, but the man who raised them for whatever period of time was their Dad. Maybe they don’t know they have different biodads. There is plenty of room to fill in the blanks, whether that’s by design or not. So, my thoughts are people need to stop coming up with reasons to whitewash characters to fit their personal agenda. In the case of Bob Morley, he identifies as a MOC for sure. End of story. I don’t know too much about Frank but unless he comes along and states otherwise, I’m going to count him as a POC. Which makes Nick a POC. End of story.
Friendly reminder that Maryse and Isabelle from Shadowhunters are WOC, but Maryse’s sons are both lily white. Haven’t heard any complaints from anyone there.
It is disappointing i feel like they could've found actors who actually were all i was saying was that neither of them are white and chris is def not white passing unlike his brother, especially in his face i'd say.
For sure. And yeah, he looks nothing like his brother. I actually thought he resembled the actress who played Liza quite a bit.
In response to ofelia and chris. All we know about the actress who plays ofelia is that she is from Sweden it doesn't make her white. As for chris not all italians are white, i know italians who are not white as well as history where italian roots come from a lot of different backgrounds you can tell in their looks that they are not from white decent though they have some white in them. They are not white.
Not all non-white people are POC or identify as such. And they are definitely not Latinx. I think that part is still disappointing.
"victatorship" YES! They can keep trying it!
Seriously. The rules were pretty damn clear.
